The very first product introduced to the market by Innovative Energies was a DC/DC converter. This was a linear regulated device designed in the late 1980's for powering a 12V nominal Radio Telephone from a 24V vehicle, typically trucks and buses. Shortly thereafter we replaced this product with a switch mode type of which many thousands were produced.
Today in the 21st century we both produce and represent a truly comprehensive range of DC/DC converters, all of which are fully isolated galvanically (double wound transformers) and using modern switch mode technology. It is rare for us to be unable to offer a suitable solution to the myriad enquiries received.
From tiny PCB mount encapsulated units of 1W, right up to 22kW and beyond, we have a solution for nearly every conceivable requirement.
Units of our own manufacture cover the 70W and 150W ranges, which are available to suit standard DC inputs from 12V - 110V nominal and outputs of 12, 24 and 48V. For non-standard input and/or output voltages we are also able to adapt standard models in most cases.

Complementing the above the fantastic Schaefer Industrial range enables the supply of virtually any DC/DC conversion from 30W to 22kW output
power! in 4000 distinct models, each of which can be specified with a number of options to meet the application, especially for harsh environmental conditions where temperature, vibration and humidity

The Schaefer range is normally built as plug-in modules for 19" rack mounting but can be supplied for wall or panel mounting.
