Job Description: Innovative Energies is a developer, manufacturer and distributor of DC Power Products based at Henderson. The company has both import and export operations.
Due to new product developments and increasing sales opportunities a technical pre sales engineer / technician is now required.
Experience required in:
• Low to Medium DC voltage
• Technical drawings
• Customer and Technical support
It will be an advantage to have experience in:
• Modular system design
• DC Power supply knowledge
• Scarda / Telemetry
• Serial and Ethernet Communications
• SNMP and MODBUS Protocols
We are looking for someone who can turn a customer’s enquiry and specifications into a fully assembled, customised solution with associated drawings and documentation. You will need to liaise with the customer to ensure that both parties understand what is required. Once you have finalised on the requirements for the application you then need to design the system using components from our extensive product range and those of our suppliers. As part of the design process you will need to produce data sheets as well as schematic and general arrangement drawings for both the customer and the Production Manager.
Upon receiving approval from the customer you will need to assist the Production Manager and Factory Manager with ensuring the system is assembled within accordance with the design, the customers’ requirements and the applicable standards.
You will also be required to provide technical assistance to other members of staff, especially the sales team, as well assisting customers and engineers with technical enquires on our products.
The position would suite an Electrician, Electrical Engineer or technician.
